On 24 October, Navitas Professional Careers and Internships were delighted to be presented with the Business Excellence Award at this year’s Hong Kong Australia Business Association NSW Business Chapter Awards.

The Hong Kong-Australia Business Association Limited (HKABA), initiated by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, was established in 1987 to reinforce economic ties between Hong Kong SAR/China and Australia. The Association provides networking opportunities on which strong trading and investment links are built between Hong Kong companies and Australian companies.

2016 marked the 17th year of the annual Business Awards program which recognise the entrepreneurial spirit and achievements of small and medium enterprises in all aspects of international trade affiliations between New South Wales and Hong Kong SAR.

The Business Excellence Award acknowledges Navitas Professional’s passion and success in providing exceptional employability training to international graduates.

Navitas Professional’s award-winning work-readiness and internship training programs connect graduates with our vast network of industry professionals and mentors, helping them bridge the gap between university and professional employment.

The benefit of this program to the international student community of Australia is evidenced by 83% of graduates gaining full-time employment within six months of completing our program. It is without a doubt that host companies also reap the benefits of engaging graduate interns; professional development for employees, new ideas and project resources to name just a few.

We are honoured to have been awarded the Business Excellence Award and we look forward to working with the Hong Kong-Australia Business Association more closely in 2017.
